Children often receive gifts during LNY. Ma Li’s mother gave him an Optimus Prime transformer truck. He loved it and when I asked him if I could take his picture he declined but insisted that I take a picture of his awesome truck. When I asked if I could take a picture of both of them he *also* declined, but I snuck him in anyway! Later on I took his truck and turned it into Optimus Prime and he got really pissed off. He snatched it from my hands and ran to his father angrily shouting “Look what the foreigner did! The foreigner did it! The foreigner did it!” Ha ha ha!
